About Me

I used to be blown away by reversing a string in Python for detecting a palindrome, now I've seen data science be used to detect earthquakes and breast cancer, as well as optimize business processes and logistics through the current AI revolution. Every day I grow more impressed with the limitless capacity for data scientists and what they can accomplish, and being apart of that is something that I constantly strive for.

I am a fourth year Business Analytics & Computer Science student at the University of Texas at Austin, and I'm always learning more about the intricacies of data science & ML/AI as I attempt to navigate the massive field of data and become an expert in it myself.

Experience

AI & Data Engineering Intern - Deloitte

Summer 2024        Austin, TX

Throughout my summer internship at Deloitte, I worked on a project for the state of Tennessee where I helped design, develop, and maintain the production of a system that will help ensure healthcare providers provide a higher quality of care to their patients.

Data Science Student Partner - Microsoft

Spring 2024        Austin, TX

As apart of my Capstone project in my final Business Analytics class, I worked with Microsoft on an automation project. Essentially, Microsoft wanted me to develop a Python script that automatically generates a PowerPoint slide deck to replace the workload for their internal financial team that creates them for monthly financial reports.

Research Assistant - McCombs

Spring 2023 - Spring 2024        Austin, TX

As a research assistant for two professors at McCombs, I used Python to analyzing three decades of data from six reputable journals in the fields of Finance and Management, as well as constructed difference-in-differences & time-series analysis to showcase changes between the fields as well as changes over time.

Data Science Intern - Cencora

Summer 2023        Austin, TX

Incoming Intern

Data Analyst Intern - Integra FEC

Fall 2022        Austin, TX

As a data analyst intern at Integra FEC, I used Python to investigate trading data to create statistical models showcasing likelihood of insider trading at various companies.
